Welcome to the web site for St. James the Apostle Episcopal Church. I hope you find the information here helpful to you, but of course the best way to find out about any church is to come for a visit, look over the place and talk to the people. So please take this as your official invitation to come by when you can!
If you do come by, I would love to have a chance to sit down and chat. I am the rector, which simply means that I am the senior pastor, or the priest in charge, of the parish. Whether you’re looking for a church home, looking for guidance in the midst of life’s challenges, or just looking for somebody to talk to, I would love to hear your story. Just give me a call or shoot me an email, and we’ll set up a time.
Sunday, of course, is the big day and the best opportunity to experience the fullest expression of our life as a parish. On Sundays, we pray together, sing together, hear God’s word together and share Holy Communion. Between services, we also make time for fellowship and Christian education for all ages (note that we break for summer!).
But we’re not just open on Sundays. Monday through Friday, you can find plenty of learning and laughing, working and playing, resting and reflecting going on. As you make your way through the web site, you’ll get an idea of the various events and programs going on throughout the week.
Again, feel free to call or come by anytime. Hope to see you soon.
