Deeply held and conflicting religious conviction has challenged the conversation about the meaning of the gospel in the age of Google. If the message of Jesus was reconciliation in heaven and earth, why does the world look the way it does? Because what we sincerely believe to be true of God matters.
Linda worked as President and General Manager in network television at CBS in San Antonio, Texas; ABC and NBC in Jacksonville, Florida; and NBC in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and her husband Larry also owned and operated an independent television station in St. Paul, Minnesota where she served as President and General Manager and hosted a public affairs talk show for seven years. She is the author of 9 books including the best selling fiction series Reluctant Demon Diaries (winner USA Best Book religion/fiction 2010) and Lucifer’s War (winner USA best book religion/nonfiction 2012.) She has served as head of the department of evangelism for the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas; deacon and adult Bible education teacher at North Heights Lutheran Church and board member and frequent speaker at the International Lutheran Conference on the Holy Spirit in Arden Hills, Minnesota. She also served as teaching pastor at Covenant Center International in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. As author of “LifeWorks: The search for meaning and purpose through vocation,” “What the Bible really says about women,” and “Relevant Faith” Linda has travelled to New Zealand, Korea, Canada, Guatemala, Aruba and other countries as well as in the United States as a conference speaker. Larry and Linda have been married for 37 years and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren and live in Montgomery, Texas. They have been members of St. James since January 2017.
